Hello there
I'm Matt Greenwell, a Lecturer in Field Ecology at the University of Reading, UK.
In 2020 I completed a PhD in butterfly population genetics and since then I've worked on a range of topics from bio-security to trophy hunting, before returning to my main interest - ecology.
Over the past four years I've spent half my time in Reading and the other half on a small, rainforest-covered island in the middle of the Panama Canal.
Here you can find out about my research, my science communication activities, and my fieldwork adventures.
